What composer of classical music actually makes you happy to listen to?
Most music makes me happy… Here are the ones that never fail to! Franz Joseph Haydn – His music is like a flood of pure joy. Sunny, radiant, ecstatic, joy. I especially love his string quartets. Mozart! Clear and complete beauty. Mozart’s music can actually dull any type of physical pain I might be feeling. His operas always make me very happy. Beethoven – There are moments in Beethoven’s music that reach such extreme heights of unfathomable joy… exhilarating, rapturous, joy. Beethoven takes you to the extremes of human experience! Schubert – His music goes directly to my emotions, always elevating them to a higher level… I don’t know how to explain how his music affects me. Such an overwhelming amount of poetry, compassion, and love in his music…
