What components are used to achieve whole building sustainability?
* HVAC – Our HVAC systems are designed using Manual J calculations to ascertain the correct tonnage for each house and each system uses non-HCFC refrigerants. The Manual J calculations take into account the construction materials used, air tightness, outside air requirements, dehumidification and exhaust. We also incorporate programmable thermostats and provide an orientation and training session with the homeowners on the efficient use of the system and air filter maintenance.
