The KSM (Kofax Source Manager) is removed with the installation of VRS 4.1. A KSM entry is placed in the Control Panel, but if you select it, you are redirected to the Scanner Configuration Utility. RDV (Restore Default Values Utility) is removed with the installation of VRS 4.1. This functionality is replaced by the Scanner Configuration Utility. The Scan Demo 2.0 demonstration application is removed with the installation of VRS 4.1. Unfortunately, runtimes previously installed with Scan Demo are no longer compatible with VRS. Simply reinstall Scan Demo 4.1 from the VRS 4.1 CD or download it from our Web site and reinstall it.
