• At the moment, for Windows Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 and 2008 are the only supported compilers. Dev-C++ is not supported. Microsoft’s Visual C++ Express is free to install and use, so there’s no reason not to use it. • For Linux, any recent version of GCC and toolchain should work.
