Qualified teachers who have not previously received a stipend for obtaining the National Board of Professional Teaching Standards certificate shall receive a one-time $7,500 stipend upon obtaining the NBPTS certification. In addition, qualified teachers may also be eligible to receive compensation from the State of Florida equal to 10% of the average teachers’ wage in the state.
