What company makes the best vacuum cleaner?
I fix vacuums on a regular basis. I like simple hoover vacuum with bags. Bagless vacuum use expensive filters which clog up over time and need replacement wheres a bagged vacuum is like new every time you change the bag (cheap). Hoover is a good brand. Any vacuum with hoses may clog but if you want one buy a vacuum that has a hose as part of the system instead of having to attach it each use. So many people throw out vacuums when all they need is a $2 belt or the hose gets clogged.
I love Rainbows and do think they are the best, especially if you have hairy dogs and cats AND asthma. But they are way too expensive. Unless you take to selling them yourself and giving you a discount or a family member, they are hideously over-priced. But I’ve had great success also with Miele vacuums and a few Dysons. With Dysons, it seem to matter on that particular vacuum, not a specific model. Buy one that is used or rebuilt since they are outrageously expensive. They last and last. They suction as well on their 20th year as their first day. I’ve bought two of them and still have my older one that is over 20 years old and I know a lady who has one that is over 30 years old. She’s gotten a newer powerhead, but that’s all. Yes, the water is a pain at times, but I never complain because my vacuum is still terrific after all these years.
