What company is better Sodexho or Aramark?
Sodexho were the food service providers at a college I worked at. Their customer service, including the catering for special events was terrible. They treated their employees like cattle, and therefore had a huge staff turnover and no skilled employees. The food was clearly mass produced, and was probably not fit to feed to our pets. I also found that the prices they charged for this were significantly higher than any fast food restaurant. I would suggest going with a food court style if you have the ability, have the major food chains come in and provide variety and competition. If this isn’t an option, I’d suggest opening it up to more than just the huge companies. Perhaps some smaller local companies can offer better service, and return the profits to your community instead of to a huge worldwide company.
