What companies recruit City College computer science graduates?
The computer field has grown exponentially during the past 20 years, and there are many opportunities in research and industry. Companies and firms as diverse as the National Security Agency and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration to Microsoft and Verizon actively recruit our students. • How many graduates get jobs soon after graduation? The department does not have these statistics on-hand. However, Surveys by the College show that a vast majority of City College graduates who are not pursuing further study find employment within three to four months after graduation. Given the current growth of the technology sector, we expect that figures for C.S. graduates average much higher than that of the entire collge. The Career Center and the City College Alumni Association take an active role in helping new graduates find employment. • What SAT or GPA do I need to be admitted at the College?
