If you are using the integrated Management Central scheduler, the basic job schedule entry functions (ADDJOBSCE, WRKJOBSCDE, etc.) are used under the covers. If you are using the IBM Advanced Job Scheduler licensed program product, the Advanced Job Scheduler functions (ADDJOBJS, WRKJOBJS, etc.) are used.
