What colour would look good on our houses various outside trim?

I’m with some of the others. Change some or all of the dark green trim to black, cream or white colour. Dark grey would be okay too, as would a dark blue. All those colours are very traditional with red brick, they’re time-tested, and they will look fine too when you eventually change the roof colour. Since you can eventually change the roof colour but are pretty much stuck with the red brick, use something that goes with the brick. Really, roof colours aren’t all that important, unless you wanted to use a screaming bright orange for your trim. Roof colours usually aren’t a feature except in metal roofs where the colours can be bright. Most people don’t really see the roof colour. More important to have a trim colour that sets off or disguises features and looks good with the brick colour which is what people will see. If you want some brighter colour, use it on you front door or on planters or some other thing that’s easy to change if you get tired of it.
