What colour wall tiles for our new kitchen?!?
First of all, your kitchen sounds beautiful! I love the colors you’ve chosen so far. I would look at a nearly clear glass mosaic tile for your backsplash. It’s sparkly and dramatic without taking away from your tops or cabinets. You can bring in an accent band of color, perhaps in a square, behind your range if you’re using a hood, not a microwave. If you’re using a microhood, then perhaps two bands of color running between the mosaic tiles, one about 4″ above the countertop, one about 4″ below the cabinets. Possible colors could be: similar blue to paint, dark red, peach, orange. BTW, I strongly suggest that if you’re doing a decorative tile backsplash, you run it down to the countertop, rather than carrying the top 4″ up the wall, then starting your deco tile.
