What colors should a light skinned person wear to make there features more noticeable??
I am very light skinned, so I speak with some experience. Colors that are too dark might make you look like a ghost. Lightness of the skin isn’t the only thing that determines what color you should wear. If your skin has ivory tones, then you will want to wear warm colors toward the yellow end of the spectrum. Think colors you see in nature during the autumn months. Yellow is good, but so are muted blues, greyish or yellow greens, browns, brownish gray, warm reds (warmer means leaning toward orange or yellow). A bright white will also make you look sickly. Ivory, beige, and ecru will look better on you. Instead of black, try Navy Blue. However, if your skin has pink tones you should wear colors toward the magenta end of the spectrum. Think colors you see in nature during the Spring months. Wear magenta, pinks, royal blue, blueish greens, bluish gray, cooler purples, cooler reds (cooler means leaning toward magenta).
