What colors mix to make purple?
Well, you really can’t make purple without blue and red. Purple is a secondary color, created by mixing the primary colors blue and red. What you CAN do to create other shades of purple is to vary the amounts of red and blue that you use, add a bit of black to darken the shades, add white to lighten shades, or add some water/thinner to your paint (depending on what kind) to change the opacity of the colors.
