What color spring for Manitou Travis 203mm Single Crown Fork?
Hey Yo Mama, The extra stiff springs would be perfect for your weight, especially if your bike bottoms out on drops and gouts. The extra stiff springs are painted white on the single crown and double crown Travis forks. The stiff springs are painted black on the ends of the spring. Make sure you purchase the extra stiff springs, because Manitou made the springs non progressive and are very plush even for the stiff spring. Also make sure you get the 203mm springs not the 180mm springs. The 203’s are kinda hard to get, but you can order them through a bike shop that carries Manitou Shocks. Just to let you know it may take up to 3 weeks or longer to get your replacement spring.
