What color of Tanzanite is the best ?
Tanzanite can be violets – blue, even purple or pure blue depending on how the gem is handled during the cutting stage. Which color is best is a matter of personal preference. Tanzanite is a very passionately colored gem and everyone seems to remember it, once experienced. I am attracted to the violets – blue colors which, for me, heighten the sense of the exotic. True blues seem to be preferred.
