What color does the mother of the bride usually wear?
Our wedding colors are white and silver. I’m wearing white, my maids are wearing black. I’m having an evening wedding in winter in NYC and didn’t know what other color to choose lol. Anyway, my mom chose a silver/gray/pewter ensemble. I don’t know the exact shade she chose, but I’m sure you get the picture. I think it is best for your mother and your future mother in law to wear colors that compliment your wedding colors since they will be in quite a lot of pictures. Maybe your mom can wear a blue/gray shade…steel gray is nice. Imagine if your mom or mother and law wore red or green or brown!!!!! Do you have a mental pic of what your wedding pictures will look like if they wore those colors??? Congrats on your wedding.
