What Codecs or Voice compression algorithms do you support?

We at IndiVoIP, strive to use the best compression algorithms for you to have the best quality crystal clear call that can be attained. We offer and support all the major compression algorithms including G.711, Ulaw, Alaw, GSM, ILBC, G.723.1, G.727, G.729, and even IAX2 (which will allow you to use our service in countries that block SIP traffic). If you have broadband cable with high capacity, we recommend using G.711 (or Ulaw/Alaw), which requires 64Kb of up/down Internet. However if bandwidth is at a premium you can choose G.729 if your device supports it and only use up 8 Kb of internet to make the calls.
