(top) The CO2 calculator covers four important areas of an individual’s carbon footprint: home energy, ground transportation, air travel, and recycling. Home energy includes greenhouse gas emissions associated with the use of electricity, propane, natural gas and heating oil. Ground transportation includes car, bus, subway and train. Air travel includes commercial plane travel. Recycling includes any household recycling efforts.
