The rich would have worn white linen garments with leather sandals. These would be adorned with jewellry, the amount and quality depending on your status. Make-up and wigs were also essentials for proper dress. The poorer people would either have worn simple linen clothing or nothing at all. Nudity was no crime back then, it was just seen as a peasant-like thing to do.
