What climbing plants are suited to a north facing wall and very clay soil?
I like Paul’s answer, but I’d like to toss in a couple more for consideration… I am an edible plants enthusiast and grower so here are a couple of my favorite vines you might not have heard of: 1) Magnolia Vine I can say that I have tried the berries and I absolutely love them! Tart, sweet, and full of flavor they make great syrups. I also think they are rather attractive vines, too.
