What client should I use with Zimbra?
It all depends on how you use your email. For most people the Web client (available at https://zimbra.ncsa.uiuc.edu/) will be the best route. Using the Web client ensures that email will be available from home, work, temporary offices — in short, anywhere that you log in to read your email. Since the system uses a standard Web browser you can read your email, access your calendar, or share documents from any system that has a Web browser installed. Because of the ubiquity of Web access, ease of administration issues, and the feature-rich interface this is the recommended configuration. People who download their email, read or compose replies when offline, and then send messages when they reconnect to the Internet (such as frequent travelers) will want to use some sort of email client that doesn’t require a connection to the Internet.
