What classifies as an unfit parent?
Your in for a long, tough battle ahead of you. I hate to say, but it takes a lot to prove a mother unfit. My husband as well has a court hearing coming up in 2 weeks to get custody of his youngest daughter. However, we have been collecting the proof and evidence and giving her chance after chance and so on and so on since she was born. My step daughter is now 3 and we’re quite confident in getting custody. However, we also have documentation, some photos (prob wont be used tho), social services has been involved, and much much more. one or 2 pics and convos from myspace is gonna do nothing for you. Good luck in your upcoming case…but know its probably not going to get any where near solved. Its gonna take you a while to get the proof you need, plus you have to be willing to give the mother the benefit of the doubt, so-to-say, i.e. the chance to change, otherwise the courts may look at you and say your being spiteful and thats it. False or not, thats been my experience thus far seeing
