What is the minimum on-the-job experience for General Electrician? To qualify to take the exam the applicant must establish that they have acquired 8,000 hours of the-job experience in the following categories. Applicants who have completed an approved apprenticeship program shall submit a letter from the training committee confirming that they are qualified to take the exam.
