What classes do i need to take in high school to become a emt or parametic?
You only need to have graduated high school. Though having as much of the sciences you can take will not hurt. My daughter took an EMT certification in her senior year at college. It was two evenings a week for a semester at a community college. Paramedic training though is a lot longer, about 6 months. Surprisngly, she tells me that most EMTs and Paramedics only work at it part time, while doing another job as well.
