What classes are needed/suggested for acceptance into college?
Basic college prep courses are required. They are 4 years of English, 3 years of Math, 3 years of Science, and 3 years of Social Studies. Taking a foreign language is not required, but it is encouraged. Some of the degrees here at the University require that students complete anywhere from 1-4 years of a foreign language at the University level. Encourage the use high school as an opportunity to get a head start in your child’s discipline of choice.
