Children and teens may attend the newest OpREADY (772-0470) class called Just a Little Longer. It is a one hour class that gives this audience the tools to deal with the extension. Cool Kids is a 6-week program run by Social Work Services (772-2778, Behavioral Health option) for children and Solutions for teens, to assist parents and children in dealing with anger issues. Each school within the Fort Drum area is also receiving assistance from a three man team – OpREADY, Military Family Life Counselors (MFLC), and Social Work Services (SWS). Classes for staff members, parents and children can be coordinated by calling your school district.
