What claims is ProMedCo responsible for paying?
ProMedCo Hudson Valley is responsible for paying all professional claims for GHI HMO Select (Commercial and Point of Service members) and WellCare of New York (Senior Health, Healthy Choice and Child Health Plus) members who have a PCP that is contracted with one of our IPAs. All PCPs in the following counties are contracted with one of our IPAs: Orange, Sullivan, Dutchess, Ulster, Columbia, Greene. Only certain PCPs in the counties of Albany, Saratoga, Schnectady and Rensselear are contracted with a ProMedCo HV IPA.
