If you’re a student who has a good answer and can express it in essay form, you could win thousands of dollars and a trip to the nation’s capital. The Bill of Rights Institute, which aims to explore the rights and responsibilities of citizenship and the civic values that unite us as Americans, is administering the largest high school essay contest in the country. The nonprofit group is devoted to educating children about the Constitution and founding principles. Contest sponsors include the History Channel and the Stuart Family Foundation.
