What city was lord of the flies published?

Salisbury, Wiltshire England. Ok this is what I came up with: Sir Golding published the Lord of the Flies in 1953 He was a teacher at Bishop Wordwoth’s School from 1945 to 1962. That is located in in Salisbury, Wiltshire England. If he wrote it somewhere else, such as on a vacation, I could not find any info about that.
