We offer elective rotations in all the medical subspecialties, such as Cardiology Surgical ICU, Cardiology, Community-Based Medicine/Geriatrics, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Hematology/Oncology, Infectious Diseases, Medical Consultation, Nephrology, Hospice/Palliative Care, Pulmonary, Rheumatology and Sports Medicine. Rotations outside of Internal Medicine are also available, including Dermatology, Head and Neck Surgery, Medical Orthopedics, Urgent Care, Neurology, Addiction Medicine, and Ophthalmology.

Elective rotations include all the medical subspecialties, such as Allergy/Immunology, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Hematology/Oncology, Infectious Diseases, Nephrology, Pulmonary, and Rheumatology. Rotations outside of Internal Medicine also are available, including Dermatology, Head & Neck Surgery, Medical Orthopedics, Urgent Care, Neurology, and Ophthalmology. These rotations are in addition to the required Ambulatory Care 4-week block rotations each year, 2 week General Medicine Consult/Hospitalist rotation in each resident year, and 4 week Community Based Medicine rotation for third year residents (a geriatrics rotation including skilled nursing facility care and home visits).
