I just moved from the Western Suburbs of Chicago because there were no available nursing jobs for a 10 year veteran. Edward Hospital in Naperville cut positions. Among the first to be let go were advance practice nurses. Central DuPage and Bolingbrook Hospitals have a few positions but a recruiter told me there were 7 applicants for every open position.
