What cheese goes well with port wine?

The classic cheese to have with port wine is a mature Stilton cheese. In British supermarkets near Christmas they often sell a half bottle of port with a small Stilton in a gift box. I always buy a couple in case I have forgotten to buy someone a present, or I have an unexpected guest. And if I don’t I can always eat and drink it myself. Oh dear, now I have to go and have some.
