G’day Von, Thank you for your question. The geographic North Pole is the most northerly place on earth and the northern end of the earth’s axis of rotation. All meridians converge at the North Pole and it spends 6 months in darkness. The magnetic North Pole switches to the South Pole periodically and shifts between locations.
