What characteristics differentiate DaniMer Scientific films from starch based films?
DaniMer Scientific films are more durable, and have higher resistance to moisture and acidic liquids than most starch films. DaniMer films also have much superior odor barrier properties and better printability and heat seal properties than starch films. While both starch and DaniMer films are compostable and biodegradeable, DaniMer films provide superior durability over a product use cycle than do starch films.
