Another way to find MTV channels is the scan all the channels you can receive on your dish network, and then to make a note of the satellite and channel numbers that your particular satellite system has allocated to the MTV programs. On some systems you can change the channel numbers individually so that all MTV channels appear first, at the top of the list of all the channels receivable from that satellite.
