Shortly after the equipment goes live, Canada Post will be converting selected letter carrier depots to “sequenced” depots. As the number of sequenced depots increases, customers will notice a shift of volumes from the DF (Delivery Facility), City and DCF (Distribution Centre Facility) containers into the FCP (Forward Consolidation Point) and Residue containers when they are preparing Machineable Presort shipments for deposit. This will reduce the amount of bundling required.
