The Bachelor of Science in Surveying and Mapping will no longer be offered beginning the fall 2010 semester, for new students and continuing students that had not previously declared the Surveying and Mapping program as their degree status or had declared the Surveying and Mapping program as their degree status but has not taken a surveying (SUR) course. The degree is still available for degree seeking students who had previously declared Surveying and Mapping as their degree as of the fall 2010 semester and have taken a SUR course for 3 consectutive semesters as of summer 2010 semester. The Surveying courses have been moved to the department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, as an area of interest under the Geographic Information Systems Area of Concentration, Land Use Major . These courses may also be taken for Surveying professional development.
