You may want to shield the control cavity of the guitar as wiring and controls are also a source of noise. If you do this, you’ll have one of the quietest guitars on the planet. Even if you don’t the noise level will likely still be very good by virtue of the fact that your body acts as a shield while you are in contact with the strings or bridge (being grounded).
