As of now, PayPal intends to operate VeriSign Payment Services as a standalone service offering. PayPal’s plan is that this acquisition will not visibly affect your current service—your VeriSign product and interaction with customer support will continue to function just as they do today. VeriSign Payment Services will be added to PayPal’s existing suite of services, not eliminated. You’ll be able to choose to continue online payments through the gateway checkout flow, or through one of PayPal’s hosted or non-hosted payment solutions.
