What changes are included in the Release 2 of the COUNTER Code of Practice?
There are two changes to the content of the COUNTER reports: • The addition of columns that identify the ‘Publisher’ and ‘Platform’ of the database or journal. • A modification to Journal Report 1 (Number of Successful Full-Text Article Requests by Month and Journal), which requires that HTML and PDF full-text article downloads are reported in separate columns. Currently, one total is reported for all types of full-text article downloads. PostScipt totals will only appear in the ‘YTD Total’ column and must be distinguished from HTML & PDF full-text article downloads.
