HCA updates the UMP Administrative Services Contract periodically through a competitive procurement process. As a result of the latest procurement, Regence BlueShield has been awarded the contract for the period January 1, 2011 through December 31, 2014. HCA and Regence will work together for the rest of 2010 to complete all operational changes necessary to ensure a smooth transition of the contract on January 1, 2011.
