What certification must a document examiner have in order to testify in a court of law?

The government agencies (FBI, CIA, and ATF) have “in house” two-year programs of training and apprenticeship. I also have been part of a two-year program attending the School of Forensic Document Examination. My apprenticeship was under one of the top document examiners in the country, Mr. Don Lehew who has been involved in high profile cases, Mrs. Katherine Koppenhaver who is considered an authority in the field and has written many books on the subject. She has done more than 2400 cases.
