The ACerS-NIST Phase Equilibria Diagrams Database (formerly the Phase Diagrams for Ceramists Database) contains more than 21,000 easily accessible phase diagrams for a wide variety of ceramic systems. The newest version of the database (available in CD-ROM and online) contains complete commentaries and diagrams for all published volumes (Volumes I – XIV, Annual Volumes ‘91, ‘92 and ‘93, High Tc Superconductor monographs (two), Phase Diagrams for Zirconium + Zirconia Systems, and Phase Diagrams for Electronic Ceramics I). In addition, this version contains over 1,200 new phase diagrams that are labeled as “Volume 15″ in the database. Note that these phase diagrams are only available in electronic format and will not be printed. The CD-ROM application contains a powerful graphics capability that allows on-screen plotting and manipulation of the diagrams.
