I think that the easiest character to write about would be Hester. I’m not sure about which celebrity or historical figure you should choose, but it should be someone who is intelligent, strong, moral, graceful, loving, and probably the trait that is easiest to find a comparison for…someone who is not afraid to show who she cares about (her daughter) and who doesn’t show that she cares (if she even does) about other peoples’ opinions. Hester is considered one of the ‘greatest American female characters’…I hope that helps you to find someone to compare her to.
