What causes toilet overflows?
Toilet bowl overflows occur when there is a clog/blockage in the toilet bowl that prevents water from leaving the toilet bowl and entering the sewer line. A toothbrush, hairbrush, toy, plastic hair spray lid, too much toilet paper or large waste volume can clog a toilet and result in an overflow. Most overflows occur on the second flush. If you notice that your toilet bowl water level is unusually high, don’t flush. Wait for it to go down and then use our JetPlunger to remove or dislodge the clog.
