What causes temperature sensetivity in a molar that has a crown on it?
On 02/04/08 I had mini implants put in my lower jaw to hold my lowere plate in place. I was given about 8 shots of novacain and have been in excruciating pain since Monday. It is now 02/06/08 and I am due togo back to the dentist on 02/08/08. I don’t think it is the implants that is causing the pain but the locations where the shots were. I am on tylenol/with codiene and it is not helping…I’ve trid cold packs, warm packs…to no avail. Any suggestions? I had a filling replaced a week ago and still have no feeling in my lower lip. It feels like the novacaine has still not worn off. I told the dentist about it and she gave me a prescription of antibiotics to take for 5 days.
