What causes poor impulse control?
impulse control disorders vary (gambling, kleptomania, complusive shopping and sex) The causes of impulsivity are not black and white (it never is!) but theories and speculation lean toward neurobiological theories (something wrong with brain chemicals), psychological meanings (women who steal are repressing sexual feelings), sometimes even social and cultural reasons. It is usually a combo of all three. I could go on and on….but instead I will just give u my source and if you are really interested in this topic, get this book!
