What causes people to hate dogs (animals) so much?
I don’t really have a problem with dogs themselves, it’s irresponsible owners who don’t bother cleaning up the excrement from their animals and let their badly disciplined mutts run amok, possibly attacking other animals and people in some cases, and when the media report on some of these cases, dogs can end up with some bad PR, even the most well looked after, that annoy me. The Dangerous Dogs Act was rushed-in after reports in the media of attacks, and it’s pretty damned flawed. All it really states that certain breeds have to be chiipped, which is rubbish. Pretty much any dog can be dangerous in the hands of irresponsible individuals. The law also seems to targe the dogs themseves, when surely, the owners should be facing substantial punishment too. If you caught driving in a dangerous manner and drunk beyond belief, it’s only reasonable to expect to be banned from driving for a long amount of time, so why do irresponsible dog owners seemingly get off lightly?
