at your age irregular periods is not at all unusual, they can be caused by numerous factors, all of which are pretty normal for a teenage girl to experience. I’d just keep a napkin or tampon with you for when it does start up again.

You could miss periods through not eating enough food or from not having enough Iron in your blood. Or, if your periods have only just started it may take a while for them to become regular and sort themselves out.
