What causes Male Yeast Infection?
Candidiasis (yeast infection) is caused by a fungus known as Candida albicans, which is generally present in the skin, mouth, and intestinal tract. Though, there are different ways of male yeast infection, it is always the same fungus that causes the infection. The basic cause of yeast infection in males are sexual transmission, excessive use of antibiotics, low immune system and diabetes.
